I keep a version of opera portable. Mainly because its got auto sync built in and its smaller then firefox.
And VLC portable. I can run videos on or off my ipod with out caring if someone has codecs installed. I also encode my videos in 640*480 so I can watch on a desktop top as well. I just do a search for .mp4s on the ipod and play away. |

Portable Firefox, Thunderbird, and Pidgin as well as Floola! :) One never knows when you will be forced to use someone else's computer that only has IE! This, of course, requires always having the USB cable, but it lives in my backpack.
