No, since preferences are stored on the iPod itself.

A small item about the list box titles. Some ‘Albums, artist,’ are aligned on the left, some (Ratings) are centered, and size seems be be aligned on the right.

Also, when a smart playlist is selected, I can not adjust their size, but I can when selecting an album.

Ubuntu 8.10

I would REALLY like an option to sort. There is a hand icon allowing me to grab albums, songs, etc but I cannot move them up or down, which is really annoying when songs or albums for an artist are being listed alphabetically. For example, I just ripped some CD by an artist and all of the songs are in order, but the albums listed under the artist are not in the order which they came out. They are all alphabetical. If this could be fixed I would be more than happy.

My only other suggestions are unnecessary, but would save a lot of clicks. If there was an box that appeared, or was already there, to just drag and drop a photo for the album artwork instead of having to open and then save, etc. I’ve had to manually place almost all of the album covers for my 4th Gen Nano, so it becomes tedious.

Right click on album, selected artwork, drop and drag art work. Done. (make sure you save artwork before you quit)

I woudl love to get my albums to be sorted by artists, then date, but I think its a limit of the ipod itself.

Okay. You can sort by date.

http://www.tunequest.org/ipod-sort-your-albums-by-year-of-release/20080417/

In Floola, Select all songs in an album. Right click and edit. Move over to the sort tab. In the album space enter the year. Select all. Done.

Note: If you leave one song in an album blank or mismatched youll get the album listed twice on the ipod.

You dont have to use date, you can just label them 1,2 etc..

Perhaps we can add an edit option on the context menu that would auto select all track for editing?

but if you do so and then browse directly by albums (not by artist->alb) you’ll end up with completely screwed listing, don’t you?

What it seems to do is put them in order when looking as a cover flow or by artists, but when looking at ‘albums’ listing on the ipod it puts all the ones I changed to “sort album” 2009 as multiple entries at the end of the list…

Looks like now one has figured out a way to do this nicely yet.

xdivex:

copy img to clipboard, select album, ctrl+v. Works under mac, should work also under windows (even if not tested).

- Add Chinese Character Support (Simplified & Tradition)
- Add Full Support to iPhone 2G, 3G & iPod Touch (this will really make Floola populated :P )
