Translation glitch (spelling mistake)
OS: Linux (Ubuntu 9.10)
Ipod modell: Nano 3G
Floola version: 5.5
Spelling mistake in German translation file: the word “Dublikate” actually is written “Duplikate” (similar to the English spelling, with a “P” in the middle).
How to reproduce: switch language to German, then click “Extras” – “Einstellungen…” – “Photos” – top right option “bei dem Hinzufuegen auf Dublikate ueberpruefen” needs to be “bei dem Hinzufuegen auf Duplikate ueberpruefen”.

Cheers

You can correct these (and probably others) getting the translator app here: http://www.floola.com/home/translate/

I like the programme.

But Avira Antivir is reporting that floola.exe contains a virus called Navashiled.B (adware). Hope this is a false positive. Strange that searching this forum for “virus” gives no result. A virus indication from a major antivirus programme is a big deal so hopefully Floola’s developer(s) will sort this out.

There is no virus in the version downloaded from this website. It’s not strange that no one else has posted things about virus on the forums if it hasn’t happened before. I would delete your version and download the bittorrent version of 5.9.1 if that is not the one you are running.

The virus report from Antivir was peculiar and I am not at all surprised if it hadn’t happened before. It is nonetheless strange that a word as common as “virus” (common with respect to software that is) did not occur anywhere in a forum about a software product. Anyhow, now it does!

I have checked my Floola and it is 5.9.1. I have re-checked with Antivir and now no virus indication is received. Antivir’s definition file is frequently up-dated. So I presume this was a false positive which no longer appears in the latest definition file.

Problem gone away.
