I keep having to use a windows machine to update my ipod since Floola stopped working in Ubuntu. I tried getting help on their forums but for some reason the permissions won’t allow Floola to be executed from the ipod.

However, even under sudo/root, permission changes won’t “stick” to the ipod.

I don’t understand how it worked just fine in 10.04 and won’t work in any version since.

Ubuntu changed it, so that programs can’t be ran from the usb or usb devices(security). You can make a short cut and add Floola to the menu.
