Hi, I’m using the most recent Floola version on Windows Vista to manage my iPod Nano (5G), but it seems to have a little problem with artwork.

Some of my artwork is not exactly square, which has never been a problem with iTunes or the iPod itself. The iPod would just center the picture on its own when I used iTunes.

However, if I try to add a file without any artwork in it, and attempt to add it using Floola, it won’t accept anything that isn’t a square, so it’ll leave plenty of white space around the image. It looks very bad. (It will also reduce its quality a lot, but this issue was already brought up.)

If I try to add a file that already contains artwork, the image ends up stretched to make it a square, which isn’t much better. It will also be displayed that way on the iPod itself, which is the real problem.

The music files themselves seem to retain the unstretched pictures, though.

Is this a common issue and is there any way to make it stop stretching? Strangely enough, I didn’t have this problem before, so I’m wondering if this has to do with the new versions of Floola.
