I downloaded Floola and the program icon has a circle with a line through it over the Floola logo. When I try to run the App, I get the following.

You can’t open the application “Floola.app” because it is not supported on this architecture.

I found version 6.1 on the brothersoft web site. It runs fine until it determines it is not the current version Then it gives me the finger too. “This version has expired. Please get a new one at http://www.floola.com“ with an OK box. Cliock OK and the program quits. Very disheartening since it is the first and only program so far that has actually addressed teh iPod I am trying to rescue data off of.

Since the given web address from the message is where I got the version that won’t run at all, I wasn’t happy but I played along. I downloaded another copy from the Floola.com web site via the web hosting this time. Same result. Can’t open the application…

I am running Leopard 10.5.8 on a PowerBook G4. Your web page claims your program runs on all macs. I call BS.

It doesn’t run on mine. At least not the current version. It might run on my iMac with Snow Leopard but I don’t care if it does, my iMac is in storage and I need it to run on this PowerBook.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

What web site? floola.com? I have tried twice without success. So maybe I need step by step instructions.

I am working with what appears to be a fifth generation iPod (Called iPod Video) When I connect it with Floola 6.1 running the program gets upset that the device has been used with a newer version of iTunes than the version of Floola knows how to handle.

I just tried using tomato torrent to download the program from the torrent. Same result as downloading from the hosted by zeroRC.com.

If I knew how I would post screen shots of what I am getting.

No additional ideas for how to make this program work on my PowerBook?

I guess I will just have to keep looking for a program that will work.
