i have been using floola for a couple of months and it has been working fine. i just recently used my ipod with itunes on another person’s computer and when i tried to use floola again with it, it gives me the error message: “missing action 2048″. i have tried just ignoring it because my whole library still appears on floola, but, when i try to add new files floola closes automatically and my files are not added. i tried uninstalling and re-installing floola, no luck. i tried all the different ways of Repairing my iPod, but that did not work either. no matter what i do i can’t get floola to work again correctly.
Please some one help me quickly because i use the public library computers and am not able to download/install anything so floola is the only program i have found that i can use which does not require an installation on the computer. Plus i think i actually liked Floola better than iTunes anyhow.
Thank you muchly.
I also wanted to add that i am using an iPod Nano 5th generation with the videocamera. I am also using Windows 7, if any of that matters.
Are you using the latest version of Floola? You might have to find a copy of itunes and add one song to your ipod.
This is caused by an unsupported setting in one of the smart playlists you probably have on your iPod.
OK now how do i get rid of or fix the smart playlists? because when i try to just delete them in floola the program automatically closes and nothing is changed. And i also don’t have access to itunes for a while either. Any ideas?
Oh and i am using the latest version of floola.
Remove the options (if albums contains ____ etc) in your smart playlist.
well all the smart playlists in my iPod are empty, they just show up as empty in Floola but i can’t delete them in floola. Is there any way to do this without iTunes at all? Because i never really set up ‘smart playlists’ in iTunes before anyway. i actually didn’t know that such a thing existed until i started having problems because of them. i don’t know what you mean by “remove the options” or any of that.i mean i really have no idea what you’re talking about. Do i haveto use iTunes to fix this problem?thanks.
Okay, smart playlist use rules to create a playlist, so you can easily make a playlist that has all songs with a Genre of DJ Mix or every song by one artist, etc.
So you need to edit the smart playlist rules. Right click on the name of the playlist and then go and edit the rules/settings. Remove all the rules.
OK sorry, i get it now. But i guess i have to find a way to do this in iTunes because when i try to remove the options in Floola the program automatically closes and nothing is changed. Unless, is there a way to do this by using the iPod as a hard drive and maybe changing something in the files there?
Sorry, there isn’t a way to just edit the smart playlists on the ipod (when using it as an ipod). Since Floola is compatible with itunes, you can delete the smart playlists in itunes.
