I have tried to start my iPod on three computers.

It starts and then freezes with an error message with the heading…

::Floola (loading, **% done…)::
init error:
mhit, 1004
To hide futher error messages, hold shift while closing this window

Once this closes, the program is stalled with Floola (updating) at the top and iPod not connected at the bottom.

When I close the program, another just opens.

I can only close it with ctl-alt-del

I have tried the iPod not connected solution but that hasn’t worked.

What type of ipod? What os? Have you tried opening the ipod in itunes?

You still have your music. It’s just a problem loading your database. You musc and videos are still on the ipod, in the ipod_control hidden folder.

This message pops out if you’ve been using other 3rd party iPod softwares. Add one song with iTunes as Sid32 suggested.

That should do the trick.

Finally got around to this, my other iPod has now died so I need to fix both of them.

I have downloaded a track from iTunes but I have no idea how to get it to my iPod….do I want to sync?

I never use iTunes, only Floola, so I don’t know how to add a song woth iTunes
