Hi,
Sorry if this message has already been posted. I have searched but couldn’t find a similar topic.
I am quite new to Floola and have no previous problems with it, but i have recently been trying to add music to my ipod and i follow the usual procedure, but the songs won’t add – and don’t show up on my ipod!
I was just wondering what i can do to solve this problem, i can’t wipe my ipod though as i am currently in cambodia and dont have access to my music.
I also think my ipod might have some viruses, do you think this could cause a problem?
Thanks
What type of ipod? Where are you getting the songs from? Are they .mp3s? What happens when you copy a song from your ipod to your desktop and try to add again?
Hi!
Thanks for the reply
It is an ipod classic 80gb, and yes the songs I am trying to add are mp3s.
They are just some songs that i was trying to copy from a friend’s computer. I haven’t tried transferring them and then adding them again – i will try this.
At the beginning, it showed that they were transferring to the ipod (as per usual) and then they did not appear when i searched on the ipod for them.
Now when i try and add songs, it doesn’t even show that they are transferring – it just doesn’t work.
Thanks
Add them and select edit before add, make sure the sort tab is empty and everything else is filed in right. Try using the latest release…
I’m having the same problem, I’ve updated to 6.1 and it still happens.
I’m using a 3G Nano 8gb, trying to add mp3 files from various locations on my computer, including desktop. It randomly will not add individual songs or entire albums. In one case it will add one song from an album, but none of the others, repeatedly, I can delete it and try to add the folder and it will only add that one song. When dragged to the ‘add’ window, Floola says ‘retrieving info’ and counts the files, but then they don’t show up in red, the ‘add’ button doesn’t light up, and it doesn’t let you edit before add. I’ve looked at/updated/changed the id3 tags to see if there is something different in the songs that won’t add, I’ve checked the properties to ensure they are not protected, but to no avail. All the songs play perfectly off the computer. Any ideas?
Are they .mp3s? Where did you get them from? Sounds like they are a different audio format, not .mp3s.
I would try to add them in itunes. Or drag them over one at at time.
The same for me. There are files that are the same as the other ones (mp3) – but it’s impossible to add it. I’ve tried to apply all your instructions above – in vain. I also tried to do on different computers – the same results: floola doesn’t take these mp3′s at all. What’s the reason? How to fix it?
Please don’t say about Itunes – I don’t use i-tunes, I use Floola.
Where did you get these files? How big are these files, can you post one line for us to test?

Hi Sid, thank you! — so the files were just downloaded from some Tracker site – (but also the other mp3 were downloaded and they are fine with Floola), the size is standard (about 3-4MB for each song). All these songs from the albums of Fabio Concato. Is it really necessary to upload it somewhere for the test? If so, I’ll try (I just a little bit stupid about that, actually)), but maybe you have some ideas already? Thanks again!
Can you post a link to the tracker site?
